About Laura Sabolich Design

🎨 All of our paintings are created through meditative practice using a base made of water & carrageenan, a form of seaweed. In a way, every painting is made on top of its own little ocean.

Who Are We?

Hi, I’m Laura. I am the artist behind Laura Sabolich Design. My dream is to create & share art it in ways that can uplift & bring joy to others. I am in love with the ocean. I am in wonder at snow. I have always been drawn to the center of a storm. Water, in all of its forms, is my true love on earth.

Water is my greatest collaborator in the creation of my paintings. All of my paintings are made through the Italian method of marbling, which is painted on a base made of carrageenan (a form of seaweed) & water. So in a way every painting I create is made on top of its own little ocean. My paintings are created to be restorative portals into loving realms. I also transform my paintings into fashion accessories in hopes that they can nourish others in connecting with & expressing their most vivid selves through their own style.

I have studied in Italy at Florence University of the Arts, & in New York City at the International Center of Photography and at Parsons School of Fashion. I hold degrees in Fashion Design from Parsons & in Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Oklahoma City University. I currently live & create my art in Oklahoma City.

Brandon Stauffer is an engineer, artist, musician, and more! He helps all of our Laura Sabolich Design channels look beautiful & ensures they all run smoothly.
